What does the Covid Traffic Light System mean for Living Springs?

Sustainability Intern

Sustainability Intern

We are excited to have Elizabeth interning at Living Springs for the next few months! Elizabeth is from the U.S. and has worked at camps and conservation jobs all over the country. She is currently studying Sustainability at the University of South Dakota and she will be helping create environmental based curriculum and implementing sustainable practices here. This is her first time visiting New Zealand and she is excited to spend time hiking, camping, and learning more about native habitats!

At Living Springs, we have extensive environmental projects and we are serious about making everything we do more sustainable.  If you are interested in helping our efforts through volunteering, there are many ways to be involved.  Tree planting, maintenance of the planted areas, weeding, trap monitoring, donate a tree and corporate sponsorship to name a few.  This year we especially need help maintaining the areas that have been planted out in natives species over the past five years.  Call Michelle in the office, we would love your support.  329-9788.
