Haeata are Back

We love hosting Aorangi Sponsored school camps.  This week, through the Dublin Street Trust, we have two groups of Haeata students at camp.  Tyrina Stewart is running a Financial Literacy Camp, where the students will treat camp like the real world.  They need to pay rent and a bond for their bunkroom, work while at camp for camp money, and learn about topics such as insurance, credit cards, mortgages, they will apply for an IRD number while at camp etc.  All packaged with outdoor activities so nothing gets too boring! The other group of students attending camp are here for a Cultural Leadership camp with Jeremy Faumuina, Navigator Social Worker at Haeata.
