Farewell, Tak! And hello to our new recruits

Farewell, Tak! And hello to our new recruits

This month we are saying goodbye to a key team member and welcoming in two new people

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Takuro, who has been part of the Living Springs team for almost four years. Takuro’s hard work can be seen throughout the Living Springs property and across Predator Free Allandale. His passion and dedication to pest control have been second to none. Whether navigating thick vines, tackling challenging weather, riding his motorbike or working on foot, Takuro has put his heart into protecting our native biodiversity.

His kindness and commitment have made a lasting impression on our team, and there will be a Tak-sized hole in the Living Springs whānau for a long time to come.

We were delighted to celebrate his time with us and the friendships he has built along the way. It was wonderful to see so many people come together to farewell him in true Living Springs style, with plenty of good food, laughter and great company.

We will miss you, Tak, and wish you all the very best for your next adventure. We look forward to seeing where life takes you!

Two new members of the Living Springs team

We are delighted to welcome two new staff members to the Living Springs team!

Celia will focus on expanding our funding opportunities and strengthening our social media presence. Hannah joins our environmental team as a Field Ranger, focusing on weed control.

We are excited to have them both on board and look forward to the skills and enthusiasm they will bring to the Living Springs whānau.
