Created specifically for 13-15 year olds, Trailblazers is all about embracing challenge, engaging with nature, developing leadership skills and building character.
///////UPDATE: Thank you for your interest in our camps! we are launching a new age group that works within our kids camp program for 13-14 year olds. However it will have different activities run separate from the younger kids at times. Â This will run 20-24th Jan 2025//////
Leaders in Training programmeÂ
- Twice a year in April and October, alternating with the traditional Trailblazers camp which will run in January and July.
- This programme provides an opportunity for a small group of selected Trailblazers to join Kids Camp as LIT’s (Leaders in Training).
- For five days, the LIT’s will learn practical leadership skills by shadowing a senior camp leader and receiving mentoring from our Trailblazers director. The aim is to prepare campers 14 and 15 years old for the challenge of being a camp leader once they turn 16.
Upon turning 16, Trailblazers campers often go on to become leaders at Kids Camp, where they are able to share their love of camping with a new generation.
